I was painting up at Vasquez Rocks (the location of many a television and movie shoot -- whenever they want an "outer space" look) a few weeks back and saw a few of these guys at a nearby ranch.  Those horns had to have been at least five to six feet across.

I received a nice notice in Charley Parker's great "lines and colors" blog today -- thanks! This is from last Saturday in an old cemetery in downtown Los Angeles. A quiet place to sketch, amidst the veterans of the Spanish-American War.
